Dell EMC DD9800 – System meant for high – end workloads. It is almost twice as fast and scalable as its predecessor. Throughput of up to 68 terabytes per hour enables the DD9800 to back up 544 TB in less than 8 hours.
Dell EMC DD9300 – System meant for huge amounts of data. Being 1.5 faster and 3 times more scalable than his previous version allows throughput of up to 41 terabytes per hour enables DD9300 to back up 328TB in less than 8 hours.
Dell EMC DD6800 – System meant for midsized companies. Throughput of up to 32 terabytes per hour, the DD6800 can back up 256TB of data in under 8 hours. Thanks in part to the addition of flash SSD for metadata, the system provides faster performance than the previous generation.
Dell EMC DD6300 – System meant for midsized to small companies. With throughput of up to 24 terabytes per hour, the DD6300 can back up 192TB of data in under 8 hours. Thanks in part to the addition of flash SSD for metadata, DD6300 provides faster performance compared to the previous generation.
Another important topic is advanced deduplication which is supported by dell data domain. This technology allows increase in productivity while dealing with data. The biggest advantage is 20 times faster backup and access to data, better security and productivity.
